This specimen was lot 31289 in Heritage sale 3029 (New York, January 2014), where it sold for $646.25. The catalog description[1] noted, "Nurnberg. Free City Taler 1633, XF Details (Mount Removed) NGC. Toned surfaces with a small mount trace at the top, otherwise an attractive city view Taler. Date in chronogram Roman numerals." This thaler is listed for Nuremberg 1633 only and is three times the price of Dav-5647.
