This specimen was lot 1332 in SINCONA Auction 97 (Zürich, May 2025), where it sold for 350 CHF (about US$508 including buyers' fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"DEUTSCHLAND Nürnberg, Stadt, Guldentaler zu 60 Kreuzer 1614, Nürnberg. Mit Titel von Matthias I. Ohne Münzmeisterzeichen. Gutes sehr schön. Feine Patina. (Germany, city of Nuremberg, gulden or sixty kreuzerGood Very Fine, Nicely toned.)"
This 60 kreuzer, struck 1613-19, is too small to qualify as a thaler and likely traded for a gulden (two-thirds thaler). The city began striking gulden in 1638.
Recorded mintage: unknown.
Specifications: silver, this specimen 24.75 g.
