This specimen was lot 72243 in Stack's Bowers Collector's Choice sale (Costa Mesa, CA, June 2022), where it sold for $168. The catalog description[1] noted, "NORWAY. 50 Kroner, 1978. Olav V. PCGS MS-68+. The single second finest certified on the PCGS population report, only two finer (MS-69). This fantastic representative of the type offers a pleasing appearance with shimmery luster, frosty devices and lovely mottled patina near the edges."
