This type was struck 1973-82 for Norway. It superseded a larger type (KM 405, struck 1958-73) which weighed 8 g. This type is worthless in all grades. The denomination was dropped in 1982, the victim of inflation.

Recorded mintage: 52,886,175 plus 9,584,175 of KM 405.

Specification: 3 g, bronze, 19 mm diameter, plain edge.
