This type was struck 1958-73 for Norway. A moose (called an elk in Europe) is featured on the reverse. All dates are common but the later dates are worthless. The size was reduced to 3 g in 1973. The denomination was dropped in 1982, the victim of inflation.

Recorded mintage: 13,450,100.

Specification: 8 g, bronze, 27 mm diameter, plain edge.
