This specimen was lot 24590 in Stack's Bowers NYINC sale (New York, January 2018), where it sold for $240. The catalog description[1] noted, "NORWAY. 2 Skilling, 1804-IGM. PCGS MS-62 Secure Holder. Nice strike, lightly toned with underlying luster." This type of 1800-07 is common in circulated condition. The Danes were forced to surrender Norway to Sweden in 1814.
