This specimen was lot 21638 in Heritage sale 3010 (Boston, August 2010), where it did not sell. The catalog description[1] noted, "Christian VII Speciedaler 1777-HIAB, XF45 NGC. Attractively toned and with a striking appearance." This type is recorded for 1776-85 and is the first specie daler that is affordable.

Recorded mintage: 127,000.

Specification: 28.89 g, 0.875 fine silver.
