This specimen was lot 11161 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice Online Auction (Costa Mesa, CA, February 2025), where it sold for €65 (about US$68). The catalog description[1] noted, "NORWAY. 1 Skilling, 1764-TL. Kongsberg Mint. Frederik V. NGC VF-35. From the L. E. Bruun Collection." This is the most common date a type struck 1761-65. It is lighter and baser than the previous one skilling (KM 205). The initials TL stand for Gruls Andersen Lyng, mintmaster at Kongsberg 1737-69. One specie daler was six mark or 96 skilling.
