This specimen was lot 11158 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice Online Auction (Costa Mesa, CA, February 2025), where it sold for €312 (about US$325). The catalog description[1] noted, "NORWAY. 24 Skilling, 1762-TL. Kongsberg Mint. Frederik V. NGC AU-53. From the L. E. Bruun Collection." This is the most common date of a type struck 1761-64. It is lighter and baser than the previous two skilling (KM 235). The initials TL stand for Gruls Andersen Lyng, mintmaster at Kongsberg 1737-69. One specie daler was six mark or 96 skilling.
