This specimen was lot 11085 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice Online Auction (Costa Mesa, CA, February 2025), where it sold for €780 (about US$813). The catalog description[1] noted, "NORWAY. 3 Ducat, 1673. Christiania mint. Christian V. NGC EF Details--Obverse Scratched, Cleaned. Charming silver off-strike. From the L. E. Bruun Collection." This is a silver off-metal strike of Fr-12 which, alas, we haven't been able to locate for this site. One specie daler was six mark or 96 skilling.
Recorded mintage: unknown.
Specification: 10.84 g, 0.407 fine silver, 29 mm diameter, this specimen 5.48 g.
