This specimen was lot 74277 in Stack's Bowers Collector's Choice sale (Costa Mesa, CA, February 2023), where it sold for $780. The catalog description[1] noted, "NEW ZEALAND. Penny, 1963. Elizabeth II. PCGS PROOF-64 Red Brown. With an interesting toning pattern, this Proof is attractive and wholesome and should be a star in the next cabinet it enters."
