This specimen was lot 33737 in Heritage sale 3049 (Long Beach, September 2016), where it sold for $376. The catalog description[1] noted, "Holland Province 1/2 Duit 1757 MS65 NGC. Light silvery toning with stellar original luster and an enticing strike." This type was issued 1749-54, 1769-70 in copper, 1755-63 in silver and 1750, 1755-63 in gold from Holland. It was also produced at Utrecht (KM 112.1), Westfriesland (KM 137) and Gelderland (KM 55a), among others.

Recorded mintage: unknown.

Specification: copper (KM 72) or silver, 1.49-1.7 g (KM 72a) or gold, 1.718-1.724 g (KM 72b).
