This specimen is from the last year of issue of a type struck at the Utrecht mint for the Netherlands 1921-30. This is the most common of four dates but none are rare. The bust of Wilhelmina (r. 1890-1948) shown here first appeared on the half gulden of 1921 and was used until the end of WW II. The denomination was retired after 1930; no more have been struck to this day.
