This specimen was lot 24335 in Stack's Bowers NYINC sale (Newport Beach, CA, January 2021), where it sold for $144. The catalog description[1] noted, "NETHERLANDS. 10 Cents, 1887. Utrecht Mint; privy mark: broadaxe and star. William III. PCGS MS-64 Gold Shield. Exhibiting a mostly argent nature, this charming near-Gem presents a hint of burnished amber toning near a portion of the peripheries." This is a common date of a common type struck in the Netherlands 1849-90 with various privy marks during the reign of William III. It is rather scarce in nice condition.
