Stack's Bowers September 2025 Collectors Choice Online Auction, lot 76523

This specimen was lot 76523 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice sale (Costa Mesa, CA, September 2025), where it sold for $105. The catalog description^[1] noted, "MONGOLIA. 500 Tugrik, 2007. PCGS PROOF-69 Deep Cameo. Celebrating the fifty year anniversary of Sputnik 1's exploration." The SCWC lists numerous NCLT's for this denomination in 2008 but none in gold. The denomination is sometimes spelled 500 tögrög.
