This specimen was lot 1668 in Goldberg Sale 146 (Los Angeles, July 2025), where it sold for $168. The catalog description[1] noted, "Great Britain. Middlesex. Penny Token (c.1790). Political & Social Series. Tribute to prominent British Whig statesman Charles James Fox. Pop 1; 1 in 58 & 1 in 62. Lovely brown toning with semi proof-like fields. PCGS graded MS-63 Brown. The Augustana Collection."
