This specimen was lot 77616 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice Online Auction (Costa Mesa, CA, February 2025), where it sold for $145. The catalog description[1] noted, "MEXICO. Silver 2 Onzas, 2000-Mo. Mexican (Potosi) Mint. PCGS MS-68." This type was struck in small numbers 1996-2024. The mintage shown here is typical.
Recorded mintage: 12,800 plus 650 proofs.
