This specimen was lot 42784 in Stack's Bowers NYINC sale (New York, January 2023), where it sold for $600. The catalog description[1] noted, "MEXICO. 20 Pesos, 1999-Mo. Mexico City Mint. PCGS PROOF-69 Deep Cameo." This is one of the lesser-known NCLT's issued by the Mexico City mint. The SCWC describes this as a "child playing with a lasso" but the design shows the boy performing before a crowd.
Recorded mintage: 1,510 proofs.
Specification: 6.22 g, 0.999 fine gold, 21.9 mm diameter, 0.200 troy oz AGW.
