This specimen was part of lot 7022 in Stack's Bowers NYINC sale (New York, January 2017), which sold for $540.50. The catalog description[1] noted, "MEXICO. Medallic 10 Pesos, 1957. NGC MS-64 & 65. 2 pieces in lot. Constitution Centennial. Both attractively toned." Altho struck to the standard of a gold ten pesos of 1905-20, it bears no mark of value and is so classed as a medal. This was issued in conjunction with a circulating silver ten pesos (KM 475).
Recorded mintage: unknown but not rare.
