This specimen was lot 1015 in Stacks-Bowers NYINC sale (New York, January 2015), where it sold for $2,820. The catalog description[1] noted, "MEXICO. Mexico City. Silver Proclamation Medal, 1760. Charles III (1759-88). CHOICE ALMOST UNCIRCULATED. By A. B. Madero. Armored draped bust of Charles III right; Reverse: Arms of Mexico City. As Grove-K-2 but with a lettered edge. VERY RARE, the second example we have seen. Sharply struck and attractively toned with some rose and blue hues. From the John Adams Collection. Purchased from Ponterio & Associates December, 1998."
