This specimen was lot 23202 in Stack's Bowers ANA sale (Chicago, August 2019), where it sold for $336. The catalog description[1] noted, "MEXICO. 1/2 Real, 1729-Mo R. MEXICO City Mint. Philip V. NGC EF-45. An exceptional piece with a bold date and mintmark, complemented by significant luster surrounding the devices. Nearly full weight and scarce this sharp. From the Collection of Larry L. Terrell." This type was struck 1729-32 and is scarce with a legible date.
