Sincona sale 43, lot 2124

This specimen was lot 2124 in Sincona sale 43 (Zürich, October 2017), where it sold for 200 CHF (about US$239 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"Mansfeld, Grafschaft, Eigentliche Hinterortische Linie, Christian Friedrich, 1632-1666 Taler 1649. Eisleben. Sehr schön-vorzüglich. Kleine Henkelspur. (Germany, county of Mansfeld, Eigentliche line, Christian Frederick, 1632-66, thaler of 1649, Eisleben mint. Very fine-extremely fine, Small mount mark.)"

This type was struck 1642-53, 1663-65, all with mintmaster -HPK. It is fairly common.
