This specimen was lot 4025 in Künker sale 335 (Osnabrück, Germany, March 2020), where it sold for €300 (about US$393 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"LÜBECK, STADT. 1/4 Reichstaler (8 Schilling) 1585, mit Titel Rudolfs II. und dem Abzeichen des Bürgermeisters Hermann von Dorne. RR Hübsche Patina, kl. Schrötlingsfehler am Rand, sehr schön. (Germany, city of Lubeck, quarter thaler of 1585, in the name of Rudolf II and the badge of mayor Hermann von Dorne. Rare, handsome patina, rim nick, very fine.)"
