This type was accompanied by one, three, five and fifteen centesimi struck in copper. It was struck at Milan and Venice 9shown here) in 1852 only. Austria ceded Lombardy to the king of Sardinia in 1859 and left Venetia in 1866. The last coin to leave the mint in Venice was a gold sovrano in 1856.
