Stack's Bowers 2021 ANA sale, lot 45278

This specimen was lot 45278 in Stack's Bowers ANA sale (Costa Mesa, CA, August 2021), where it sold for $332. The catalog description[1] noted, "LITHUANIA. 10 Litu, 1999. NGC PROOF-70 Ultra Cameo. A brilliant and technically perfect Proof with hard mirrored fields and frosted cameo devices." The theme of this NCLT is a little hard to figure out altho the figure on the reverse is intended to be a medieval minter. Another ten litų (KM 116) was struck in 1999, using copper-nickel.
