This specimen was lot 32610 in Stack's Bowers Collector's Choice sale (Costa Mesa, CA, May 2024), where it sold for $45. The catalog description[1] noted, "JERSEY. 1/12 Shilling, 1933. London Mint. George V. PCGS AU-55. Displaying only the most limited signs of handling, this charming representative will most assuredly capture the attention of many bidders." The Jersey 1/12 shilling was equal to the British penny. This type was struck 1931, 1933 and 1935 and is common.

Recorded mintage: 204,000 plus proofs.

Specification: 9.5 g, bronze, 30.6 mm diameter.
