This specimen was lot 71157 in Stack's Bowers Collector's Choice sale (Santa Ana, CA, May 2018), where it sold for $65. The catalog description[1] noted, "JERSEY. 1/12 Shilling, 1911. NGC MS-63 RB. Well struck with plenty of mint red in fields. A lovely example sure to please." The Jersey 1/12 shilling was equal to the British penny; this type was struck for George V 1911, 1913 and 1923.
Recorded mintage: 204,000, a common date.
