This specimen was lot 74297 in Stack's Bowers Collector's Choice sale (Costa Mesa, CA, November 2023), where it sold for $100. The catalog description[1] noted, "JERSEY. 1/24 Shilling, 1911. London Mint. George. PCGS MS-66 Brown. An attractive specimen, delivering a soft brown allure, and much charm from the premium Gem surfaces. The sole finest graded example of the type." The Jersey 1/24 shilling was equal to the British half penny; this type was also struck in 1913 and 1923.
