Italy 1808-B lira
This specimen was lot 3566 in Sincona sale 51 (Zürich, October 2018), where it sold for 200 CHF (about US$241 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"Italien, Königreich, Napoleone I. 1805-1814. 1 Lira 1808, Bologna. Vorzüglich. Überdurchschnittliche Erhaltung. (kingdom of Italy, Napoleon I, 1805-14, lira of 1808, Bologna mint. Extremely fine, Extraordinary condition.)"
This coin was struck in Bologna for Napoleon's kingdom of Italy which lasted 1804-1814. The one lira piece matched the French silver franc and was struck in some numbers 1808-14 at Milan, Venice and Bologna.
