This type was struck 1980-85 for Israel in large numbers. Depending on the year, they were struck at Jerusalem, Bern (shown here) or Paris. This specimen bears Hebrew date 5740 ("תש"ם").

Recorded mintage: 52,408,000.

Specification: 3 g, copper-nickel, 20 mm diameter, reeded edge.
