This specimen was part of lot 1258 in Goldberg sale 116 (Los Angeles, June 2020), which sold for $960. The catalog description[1] noted, "Israel. Gold 10 New Sheqalim, plus Silver 1 and 2 New Sheqalim, 2003. KM-376-374. Biblical Art. Jacob and Rachel. In presentation case. Lot of 3 coins. Choice Brilliant Proof." This NCLT was accompanied by a two new sheqalim (KM 375) and a silver new sheqel (KM 374).
Recorded mintage: 686 proofs, Utrecht mint.
Specification: 16.96 g, 0.917 fine gold, 30 mm diameter, 0.500 troy oz AGW.
