This type was struck 1985-2010 for Israel but the dates after 1993 were struck only for collector sets. Depending on the year, they were struck at Jerusalem, Utrecht, Bern, Winnipeg or Stuttgart. This specimen bears Hebrew date 5752 ("התשנ״ב").
Recorded mintage: 27,432,000 (17,280,000 from Winnipeg and 8,640,000 from Stuttgart) plus 1,044,000 from Jerusalem (with dot) plus 6,339 piedforts struck at Utrecht.
Specification: 4 g, copper-nickel, 18 mm diameter, plain edge.
