This specimen was part of lot 1191 in Goldberg sale 116 (Los Angeles, June 2020), which sold for $432. The catalog description[1] noted, "Israel. Gold 5 New Sheqalim; plus Silver 1 and 2 New Sheqalim, 1992. KM-236-234. Commemorating the 150th Anniversary of B'nai Brith. In presentation case. Lot of 3 coins. Choice Brilliant Proof." This NCLT was accompanied by KM 235 (silver 2 new sheqalim) and KM 234 (silver sheqel).

Recorded mintage: 2,305, Utrecht mint.

Specification: 8.64 g, 0.900 fine gold, 0.250 troy oz AGW, 22 mm diameter.
