This type was struck 1937-38 for king Ghazi and is not at all common in nice condition. The monarchy lasted 1921-58.

Recorded mintage: 7,500,000 struck at Bombay (shown here) plus 5,300,000 at London without mintmark.

Specification: 9 g, 0.500 fine silver, 26.5 mm diameter, designed by Percy Metcalfe.
