This specimen was lot 74379 in Stack's Bowers Collector's Choice sale (Costa Mesa, CA, February 2022), where it sold for $432. The catalog description[1] noted, "IRAN. 5 Rials, SH 1310 (1931). Reza Shah. NGC MS-65. A pleasing Gem with full satiny luster and frosty white surfaces." This type was struck SH 1310-1313 and was likely the last silver crown to circulate in Iran. It is not rare but seldom seen in nice condition.
