This specimen was lot 75667 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice Online Auction (Costa Mesa, CA, February 2025), where it sold for $240. The catalog description[1] noted, "IRAN. 1000 Dinars, AH 1344 (1925/6). Tehran Mint. Ahmad Shah. PCGS MS-62. A SCARCE and appealing example, delivering rich details and charming retained brilliance. The sole example certified by either PCGS or NGC." This type was struck AH 1331-1344 during the reign of Ahmad Shah (r. 1909-25). Ahmad Shah left for Europe in 1923 and was absent during the coup of 1925 which ousted him.
