This specimen was lot 2928 in Sincona sale 83 (Zürich, May 2023), where it sold for 375 CHF (about US$502 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted, "IRAN, Sultan Ahmad Shah, 1327-1344 AH (1909-1925). 1 Toman 1334 AH (1915), Selten in dieser Erhaltung, Vorzüglich-FDC (Rare in this condition, Extremely fine-uncirculated)." This type was struck AH 1332-1343 during the reign of Ahmad Shah (r. 1909-25), the last Qajar shah.
Recorded mintage: 28,500.
