Stack's Bowers 2025 NYINC sale, lot 38774

This specimen was lot 38774 in Stack's Bowers NYINC sale (New York, January 2025), where it sold for $600. The catalog description[1] noted, "IRAN. Qajar Dynasty. Toman, AH 1234 (1819/20). Isfahan Mint. Fath Ali Shah. NGC AU-55. From the Yasmin Collection." This type was struck intermittently at Isfahan AH 1232-1240 along with fourteen other mints, including Kirmanshahan, Tabriz and Yazd.
