This specimen was lot 75153 in Stack's Bowers Collector's Choice sale (Costa Mesa, CA, February 2024), where it sold for $125. The catalog description[1] noted, "INDIA. Rupee, 1964-(B). Bombay Mint. PCGS MS-63. Featuring the head of Jawaharial Nehru, this Choice example provides a high degree of radiant brilliance and charm." Nehru, one of the founders of independent India, died in 1964. His daughter, Indira Gandhi, also became premier of India. This commemorative was also struck at Calcutta. A fifty paise with a similar design (KM 56) was also struck in 1964.
