This specimen was lot 2637 in Stephen Album sale 50 (Santa Rosa, CA, September 2024), where it sold for $30. The catalog description[1] noted, "BRITISH INDIA: George V, 1910-1936, AE 1/12 anna, 1934(c), a fantastic example, PCGS graded MS66 RD." The twelfth anna was 1/192nd of a rupee and was the smallest denomination struck under the predecimal system. It was struck in moderate numbers throughout the Raj until 1942. The 1934 is common. The absence of a dot below the date marks this as a product of the Calcutta mint. The Bombay mint also struck this type 1923-28 and 1936.
