This specimen was lot 2925 in Stephen Album sale 37 (Santa Rosa, CA, June 2020), where it sold for $357. The catalog description[1] noted, "BRITISH INDIA: George V, 1910-1936, AR rupee, 1920 (b), a lovely example! PCGS graded MS65." This rupee was struck at the Bombay mint after World War One. Wartime issues at Bombay (dot on reverse) and Calcutta (no dot) were large but dwindled and ceased after 1922, not to resume until 1938.

Recorded mintage: 55,937,000 + proofs.

Specification: 11.66 g, 0.917 fine silver.
