This specimen was lot 38685 in Stack's Bowers NYINC sale (New York, January 2025), where it did not sell. The catalog description[1] noted, "INDIA. 1/4 Anna, 1883-(C). Calcutta Mint. Victoria. NGC AU-58." This type was struck fairly steadily 1877-1901 but the Bombay mint contributed 1877, 1882-89 only.
Recorded mintage: 57,571,000.
Specification: 6.14 g, copper, 25.18 mm diameter.
