This specimen was lot 2577 in Stephen Album sale 38 (Santa Rosa, CA, September 2020), where it sold for $238. The catalog description[1] noted, "HYDERABAD: Mir Mahbub Ali Khan II, 1868-1911, AR 8 annas, Farkhanda Bunyad, AH1318 year 34, EF." This type, the first milled rupee for the state, was issued AH 1312 and 1318 (1894 and 1900) for Mir Mahbub Ali Khan II, ruler 1869-1911. It is accompanied by a four annas, rupee and a gold ashrafi. Eight annas = half rupee.

Recorded mintage: unknown but scarce.
