Steve Album Auction 52, lot 724

This specimen was lot 724 in Steve Album Auction 52 (Santa Rosa, CA, May 2025), where it sold for $1,140. Hyderabad was one of the few princely states wealthy enough to have an extensive series of gold coins. This type was struck AH 1286-1318. This date is not known with a regnal year, which is probably just as well as it would have been off the flan on this example.

Catalog reference: KM Y22.
