This specimen was lot 933 in Stephen Album sale 45 (Santa Rosa, CA, January 2023), where it sold for $780. The catalog description[1] noted, "HYDERABAD: Mahbub Ali Khan, 1868-1911, AV mohur, Farkhanda Bunyad, AH1314 year 31 (1896), damaged (which is one testmark in the obverse center), gorgeous toning, PCGS graded Unc details." Hyderabad was one of the few princely states wealthy enough to have an extensive series of gold coins. This type was struck AH 1286-1318.
