This specimen was lot 723 in Steve Album Auction 52 (Santa Rosa, CA, May 2025), where it did not sell. The catalog description[1] noted, "HYDERABAD: Mir Mahbub Ali Khan, 1869-1911, AV ashrafi, Farkhunda Bunyad, AH1303, one tiny testmark, lustrous AU." Hyderabad was one of the few princely states wealthy enough to have an extensive series of gold coins. This type was struck AH 1286-1318. This date is not supposed to have a regnal year, but a "١٩" is clearly visible at the top of the reverse.
