This specimen was lot 1397 in Künker Auction 425 (Osnabrück, July 2025), where it sold for €480 (about US$680 including buyers' fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"HABSBURGISCHE ERBLANDE-ÖSTERREICH · RÖMISCH-DEUTSCHES REICH, Leopold I., 1657-1705. Dukat 1703 KB, Kremnitz. GOLD. Henkelspur, sehr schön. (Holy Roman Empire, Leopold I, 1657-1705, ducat of 1703, Kremnitz mint. Mount mark, very fine.)"
This type was struck 1658-1704. The last years of the reign of Leopold I and the first years of Joseph I saw the Rakoczi rebellion which nearly toppled Hapsburg rule.
