This specimen was lot 73002 in Stack's Bowers Collector's Choice sale (Santa Ana, CA, June 2020), where it sold for $1,430. The catalog description[1] noted, "HUNGARY. 1/2 Taler, 1703-KB. Kremnica Mint. Leopold I. NGC MS-65. A type very difficult to locate in Mint State, this stunning Gem presents a high degree of shimmering brilliance atop its mostly steely gray surfaces. Sharply struck and endlessly pleasing, this specimen is far and away the finest in the NGC census, the next closest merely being an EF-45." This type is listed for 1701-04. It is fairly common.
