Hungary 1618-KB ducat Fr-81
This specimen was lot 1577 in Sincona sale 90 (Zürich, May 2024), where it sold for 3,200 CHF (about US$4,229 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"RDR / ÖSTERREICH, Matthias, (1608-)1612-1619. Dukat 1618 KB, Kremnitz. Münzmeister Georg Fleisch oder Hans Lienpacher. Sehr schön-vorzüglich. Stempelriss und kleine Kratzer. (Holy Roman Empire, Matthias, 1612-19, ducat of 1618, Kremnitz mint. Very fine-extremely fine, Die crack and small scratches.)"
This type was struck 1613-20 with the Christ Child to the right; another type (KM 61) exists with the Christ Child to the left.
