Hong Kong 1904 10 cents
This specimen was lot 72300 in Stack's Bowers Collector's Choice sale (Santa Ana, CA, October 2019), where it did not sell. The catalog description[1] noted, ""HONG KONG. 10 Cents, 1904. London Mint. PCGS MS-65 Gold Shield. A wondrous Gem, presenting intensely argent surfaces that feature some hints of a golden tone speckled throughout, more noticeably on the obverse." This type was struck at the Royal Mint 1902-05 and this date is listed as common in all grades. No ten cent pieces were struck between 1905 and 1935, suggesting a substantial oversupply. British coinage for Hong Kong ceased in 1997 when the island was returned to China.
